In addition to academics, students participate in creative art, music, yoga, breathing, dance, and social stories. We also incorporate sensory activities throughout the day, social skills learning, vision training, and circle time at the beginning and end of each day. Our schedules is highly structured and predictable for our students, with a healthy dose of creativity, spontaneity, and flexibility!
Our Typical Peer Interactions
CasaBlanca Academy is located within the Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church. Although, we have no affiliation or religious denomination, we do have the opportunity to interact with students from other programs within the church. There is a wonderful preschool program that integrates our students into many of their school activities, including a Talent Show, Valentine’s Dance, Pumpkin Patch, and Water Days, to name a few. In addition, there is a home school program that is present at the church weekly, and CasaBlanca Academy has scheduled peer activities each week with this incredible group of kids.
Our Afterschool Programs
Additionally, we offer enriching after-school clubs for students to have additional socializing and where the ratio may increase to 2-students-to-1 teacher, giving students an opportunity to be more independent in a controlled setting. Some of our clubs include Sensory Art, Fun With Foods, Mindful Music, Drama Club, Around the World, Kidokinetics, Running Club, Communication Club and many more!
